Main Session

At RH we are passionate about seeing people become family. This year we will explore our value of “being family” and how that impacts our leadership role within and outside the ROCKHARBOR community. We believe that the church should be welcoming, hospitable and inclusive. Our relationships should extend beyond the surface and be marked by kindness, intimacy, care, and commitment to loving each other.  What are ways we can do this as leaders? What does this look like practically?  These are things we’ll explore together.

Middle School Track

There's something different about the people we call "leaders." When you look at their head, heart, and hands, leaders are set apart from the crowd. Join us as we take a look at those differences and discover what it means to lead with our heads, our hearts, and our hands. Through activities, lessons, and more, we'll learn to be leaders at school, on our teams, and wherever we go.

Elementary Track

Children will experience a mixture of engaging teaching and practical training to inspire, equip, and support them to play their part as young leaders in the school, home and church. Each child will be given tools to serve in both their church family, and their family at home.

Speakers

Bart & Amy Scharrer

Main Session

Chad and Jenn have been leading ROCKHARBOR Mission Viejo since its launch in 2009. Chad has been on staff with RH since 1999 and also serves on our all-church elder board.  He is currently about 75% through his Master of Divinity at Fuller Theological Seminary and hopes to be at 76% before he meets Jesus. Jenn was the director of family ministries at RH before transitioning to directing the Halliburton family ministries.  She has been trained in lay-counseling and inner-healing prayer ministries. The Halliburtons perfect date is a foodie meal off the beaten path and tickets to the theatre.  The “re” in theatre is intentional so you will know they are artsy.

Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Hannah enjoys being outside, crafting, cooking, and doing just about anything sports-related.
